About the role

Ridgeline Software is modernizing its legacy transaction engine, codenamed "PulseCore," to achieve zero‑downtime releases. As a Prompt Engineer you will design, test, and integrate LLM‑driven prompts that automate configuration validation, rollback detection, and real‑time monitoring within the new CI/CD pipeline.

Key responsibilities

• Craft and iterate prompt templates for automated sanity checks on deployment scripts using OpenAI GPT‑4.
• Integrate prompt‑based validation into Jenkins pipelines to catch schema mismatches before they reach production.
• Collaborate with DevOps to embed prompt outputs into Grafana dashboards for live health metrics.
• Develop a prompt library for dynamic feature‑flag toggling during blue‑green deployments.
• Run A/B tests on prompt performance and fine‑tune temperature settings to reduce false positives.
• Document prompt versioning strategy in Confluence and maintain reproducible test suites.

Must-have skills

• Proficiency in designing prompts for LLMs (GPT‑4, Claude).
• Experience with Python scripting and JavaScript for API orchestration.
• Strong understanding of REST API design and integration.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and monitoring platforms.
• Ability to write clear technical documentation.

Nice to have

• Background in MLOps or model deployment pipelines.
• Exposure to zero‑downtime deployment patterns.
