About the role

BlueSky Ventures is launching an integration project that will connect its billing system, CRM, and internal APIs. We need a Python Backend Developer to design and implement the service layer that orchestrates data flow and ensures reliability across all touchpoints.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build RESTful services using Django to expose billing and CRM data.
• Implement secure API gateways and authentication mechanisms.
• Create data models in PostgreSQL and write efficient queries for real‑time sync.
• Write automated tests and set up CI pipelines for continuous delivery.
• Collaborate with front‑end and DevOps teams to troubleshoot integration issues.

Must-have skills

• Strong Python programming experience.
• Proficiency with Django framework and REST API design.
• Hands‑on PostgreSQL schema design and query optimization.
• Understanding of API security (OAuth, JWT).

Nice to have

• Experience with Docker or Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with message brokers like RabbitMQ.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions.
