Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain the backend of our applications, ensuring they are efficient, scalable, and reliable.
• Collaborate with the frontend development team to integrate backend services with frontend applications.
• Develop high-quality, well-documented code that adheres to industry standards and best practices.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure the highest quality of code and to share knowledge and expertise with other team members.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, providing timely and effective solutions to problems.
• Work closely with the QA team to identify and resolve defects, ensuring the highest level of quality in our applications.
• Contribute to the development of our technical roadmap, providing input on emerging trends and technologies.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including API documentation and technical guides.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and customer support, to ensure alignment and effective communication.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies, applying this knowledge to continuously improve our applications and services.
• Participate in agile development methodologies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Mentor junior developers, providing guidance, support, and feedback to help them grow in their roles.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices, maintaining the highest level of security and integrity in our applications.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Python backend development, with a strong focus on scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Proficiency in Python frameworks such as Django or Flask, and experience with databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Strong understanding of software development principles, including design patterns, testing, and deployment.
• Experience with agile development methodologies, including SCRUM or Kanban.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and provide effective solutions.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Experience with cloud-based technologies, such as AWS or Azure, and containerization using Docker.
