About the role

Harbor Softworks is preparing a major app store release that tightly couples mobile front‑ends with backend services. We need a QA Software Tester to ensure seamless integration, performance stability, and flawless user experience across both layers.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute manual and automated test cases for mobile APIs and backend endpoints.
• Validate data consistency and latency between iOS/Android clients and server services.
• Collaborate with developers to reproduce defects and verify fixes.
• Maintain test scripts in Selenium and integrate them into CI pipelines.
• Produce clear defect reports and risk assessments for release readiness.

Must-have skills

• Strong experience in functional testing of mobile‑backend interactions.
• Proficiency with Selenium WebDriver for API and UI automation.
• Solid understanding of RESTful services, JSON, and authentication flows.
• Ability to write clear, concise test documentation.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Appium or similar mobile automation tools.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter.
