QA Software Tester Needed for End-to-End CI Test Pipeline

About the role

Ridgeline Software is launching a security hardening initiative for its cloud‑hosted applications. We need a QA Software Tester to design and execute tests that validate security controls, identify vulnerabilities, and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop test plans focused on authentication, authorization, and data encryption.
• Automate regression suites using Selenium to cover security regression scenarios.
• Perform penetration‑test style exploratory testing on APIs and web interfaces.
• Collaborate with developers and DevSecOps to reproduce and triage findings.
• Document test results, defects, and risk assessments in a clear, actionable format.

Must-have skills

• Strong experience in functional and security testing of cloud applications.
• Proficiency with Selenium for test automation.
• Solid understanding of security concepts such as OWASP Top 10.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated security scans.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of scripting languages for custom test utilities.
