About the role

CloudWave Digital is enhancing its data pipeline and analytics platform for operations teams. We need a QA Software Tester to design and execute tests that ensure data integrity, performance, and reliability across the end‑to‑end flow.

Key responsibilities

• Develop test plans and cases for data ingestion, transformation, and reporting layers.
• Automate regression suites using Selenium and custom scripts.
• Validate data quality rules, schema compliance, and latency thresholds.
• Collaborate with engineers to reproduce defects and verify fixes.
• Document test results and provide actionable insights to improve pipeline robustness.

Must-have skills

• Hands‑on experience with QA testing of data‑centric applications.
• Proficiency in Selenium for UI and API automation.
• Strong understanding of data pipelines, ETL processes, and analytics workflows.
• Ability to write clear, concise test documentation.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with cloud data services (e.g., AWS Redshift, GCP BigQuery).
• Experience with CI/CD integration for test automation.
• Knowledge of performance testing tools.
