Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Develop and implement financial models and forecasts to support business decisions
• Manage and maintain our financial systems, including our accounting software and spreadsheets
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including tax laws and financial reporting requirements
• Provide financial guidance and support to our senior management team
• Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness
• Analyze financial data and provide insights and recommendations to support business decisions
• Manage and maintain our budgeting and forecasting processes
• Provide financial training and support to our team members as needed
• Develop and maintain relationships with our external auditors and other financial stakeholders
• Stay up-to-date with changes in financial regulations and standards, and ensure that our financial systems and processes are compliant
• Participate in special projects and initiatives as needed, including financial analysis and planning
• Maintain the highest level of confidentiality and integrity in all aspects of your work

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a small business or similar environment
• Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial data in a clear and concise manner
• Strong technical skills, including proficiency in accounting software and spreadsheets
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines
• Strong attention to detail, with a high level of accuracy and integrity
• Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box
• Strong collaboration and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with our team members and stakeholders
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation or equivalent, preferred
• Experience with financial planning and budgeting, preferred
