Senior AWS Cloud Engineer Needed for Cloud Landing Zone Workstream

About the role

DataPro Services is undertaking a performance and reliability overhaul of its customer‑facing services. We need an AWS Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and fine‑tune the cloud architecture that powers these critical workloads.

Key responsibilities

• Assess current AWS environment and identify bottlenecks
• Redesign infrastructure for high‑availability and auto‑scaling
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using IaC tools (CloudFormation/Terraform)
• Monitor system health and set up alerting for latency and error rates
• Collaborate with developers to containerize services and optimize resource usage

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with AWS core services (EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda)
• Proficiency in Docker containerization
• Solid DevOps practices and automation
• Linux system administration and scripting

Nice to have

• Experience with serverless architectures
• Knowledge of monitoring tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus
• Familiarity with networking concepts (VPC, security groups)
