About the role
We are overhauling the performance and reliability of our customer‑facing services. As a CI/CD Pipeline Engineer you will design, implement, and fine‑tune automation that accelerates deployments while ensuring stability across our cloud environment.
Key responsibilities
- Build end‑to‑end CI/CD pipelines for microservices using GitLab CI or similar.
- Integrate automated testing, security scans, and performance benchmarks.
- Optimize Docker images and Kubernetes manifests for faster rollouts.
- Implement blue‑green and canary strategies to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with developers to embed observability and alerting.
Must-have skills
- 5+ years building CI/CD systems in AWS.
- Deep knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
- Strong scripting (Bash, Python) for pipeline automation.
- Experience with performance testing and reliability engineering.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Background in monitoring tools such as Prometheus or Datadog.
- Contribution to open‑source CI/CD plugins.
