About the role

Summit Digital is launching a rapid CI/CD and platform automation sprint to accelerate release cycles. We need a Docker Kubernetes Specialist to design, implement, and fine‑tune pipelines that empower developers to ship code faster and more reliably.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and deploy end‑to‑end CI/CD workflows using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Automate environment provisioning, scaling, and monitoring for micro‑service stacks.
• Integrate security scanning, testing, and artifact management into pipelines.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to refactor legacy processes for cloud‑native efficiency.
• Document standards, runbooks, and best practices for ongoing automation.

Must-have skills

• Deep expertise in Docker containerization and Kubernetes orchestration.
• Proven track record building CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions).
• Strong DevOps mindset with scripting/automation (Bash, Python, or Go).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and IaC tools.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Helm, Argo CD, or Flux.
• Familiarity with monitoring stacks (Prometheus, Grafana).
• Background in security hardening of container workloads.
