About the role

Orbit Labs is revamping the performance and reliability of its customer‑facing services. We need a Frontend React Developer to redesign critical UI components, reduce load times, and ensure stable interactions across browsers.

Key responsibilities

• Audit existing React codebase for performance bottlenecks and refactor as needed
• Implement lazy loading, code‑splitting, and memoization techniques
• Optimize asset delivery and CSS rendering for faster paint times
• Collaborate with backend engineers to align API contracts for reliability
• Write unit and integration tests to safeguard regressions

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with React, hooks, and functional components
• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
• Deep understanding of web performance best practices
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting

Nice to have

• Familiarity with performance monitoring tools (Lighthouse, Web Vitals)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for frontend deployment
