About the role

NovaForge Tech is launching a critical product and needs a Java Developer to uplift test automation, reducing regression risk before go‑live. You will work closely with QA leads and product owners to design a robust automated suite that catches defects early.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement end‑to‑end test frameworks using Java and Spring Boot
• Develop reusable microservice‑level test components for API validation
• Integrate automated tests into CI pipelines and monitor results
• Collaborate with developers to embed testability into new features
• Document test strategies and provide training for the wider team

Must-have skills

• Strong Java development experience (5+ years)
• Proficiency with Spring Boot and building microservice‑based solutions
• Hands‑on expertise in test automation tools (e.g., JUnit, TestNG, Selenium)
• Experience integrating tests into CI/CD workflows

Nice to have

• Knowledge of performance testing tools
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker) for test environments
