Senior Microservices Architect for Automated Service Mesh Deployment

About the role

TechFlow Inc is gearing up for a major app store launch and needs a Microservices Architect to align mobile front‑ends with backend services. You will design scalable, low‑latency APIs that power the upcoming mobile experience while ensuring smooth CI/CD pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Define microservice boundaries for mobile data sync and authentication flows
• Design REST/GraphQL contracts that meet mobile bandwidth constraints
• Implement containerised services using Docker and orchestrate them on Kubernetes
• Collaborate with mobile engineers to optimise request/response patterns
• Establish monitoring, logging, and automated testing standards

Must-have skills

• Proven experience architecting microservices in Java
• Deep knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes in production
• Strong understanding of mobile‑backend interaction patterns
• Ability to produce clear API specifications and documentation

Nice to have

• Familiarity with GraphQL and API gateway solutions
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Background in performance tuning for high‑traffic mobile apps
