About the role

Cascade Apps is launching an integration project that ties together billing, CRM, and internal APIs. We need a MongoDB Specialist to design, implement, and optimise the data layer that powers these connections.

Key responsibilities

• Model and create MongoDB schemas aligned with billing and CRM data flows
• Develop efficient aggregation pipelines for real‑time reporting
• Integrate MongoDB with NodeJS services handling API orchestration
• Implement data validation, indexing, and sharding strategies for scalability
• Collaborate with frontend engineers to expose data via secure endpoints

Must-have skills

• Deep experience with MongoDB design and performance tuning
• Proficiency in JavaScript, NodeJS, and RESTful API development
• Understanding of billing systems and CRM data structures
• Strong problem‑solving and debugging abilities

Nice to have

• Familiarity with React front‑ends for data visualisation
• Experience with containerised deployments (Docker)
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for database migrations
