About the role

CoreData Systems is launching a security hardening initiative for its cloud‑hosted applications. We need a PostgreSQL Administrator to tighten database configurations, audit access controls, and implement encryption best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Review and reinforce PostgreSQL security settings across multiple cloud instances
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and remediate findings
• Implement role‑based access, row‑level security, and audit logging
• Collaborate with DevOps to integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines
• Document hardening procedures and provide knowledge transfer

Must-have skills

• 5+ years managing PostgreSQL in production environments
• Deep knowledge of encryption, authentication, and audit mechanisms
• Experience securing databases on AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Proficiency with scripting (Bash, Python) for automation

Nice to have

• Familiarity with MongoDB or MySQL security practices
• Certifications such as CISSP or AWS Security Specialty
