About the role

Ridgeline Software is launching an integration project that ties together billing, CRM, and internal APIs. We need a seasoned PostgreSQL Administrator to design, tune, and maintain the data layer that will serve as the backbone for real‑time transaction flows.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and implement PostgreSQL schemas supporting multi‑system data exchange
• Optimize queries and indexes for high‑volume billing and CRM syncs
• Develop automated backup, restore, and disaster‑recovery procedures
• Monitor replication, clustering, and performance metrics across cloud environments
• Collaborate with API developers to ensure data contracts are reliable and secure

Must-have skills

• 5+ years managing PostgreSQL in production
• Deep knowledge of replication, partitioning, and tuning
• Experience with Linux/Unix administration
• Proficiency in scripting (Bash, Python) for automation
• Strong troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis abilities

Nice to have

• Hands‑on experience with MongoDB or MySQL migrations
• Familiarity with container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Understanding of GDPR and data privacy compliance
