Senior Terraform Engineer Needed for Release Pipeline Hardening

About the role

Vertex Analytics is revamping the performance and reliability of its customer‑facing services. We need a Terraform Engineer to design, implement, and fine‑tune the infrastructure that powers these critical workloads.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and codify AWS environments using Terraform modules
• Automate provisioning pipelines with CI/CD tools for zero‑downtime deployments
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and auto‑scaling to meet SLA targets
• Collaborate with developers to refactor resources for latency reduction
• Conduct performance testing and optimize Terraform state management

Must-have skills

• Deep experience with Terraform on AWS
• Strong DevOps mindset and CI/CD pipeline expertise
• Proficiency in scripting (Shell, Python) for automation
• Understanding of networking, security groups, and IAM best practices

Nice to have

• Kubernetes infrastructure as code experience
• Familiarity with serverless services (Lambda, API Gateway)
• Experience with performance profiling tools
