Senior Terraform Engineer Needed for Secure Container Platform Build

About the role

We are launching a greenfield SaaS product and need a Terraform Engineer to design the core infrastructure from scratch. You will work with a remote‑first team, shaping the cloud foundation that will support rapid feature delivery and scaling.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and implement Terraform modules for multi‑account AWS environments
• Set up CI/CD pipelines to automate infrastructure provisioning and validation
• Collaborate with developers to define networking, security, and observability standards
• Write reusable code, documentation, and runbooks for hand‑over
• Conduct peer reviews and ensure compliance with best‑practice policies

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with Terraform on AWS
• Deep understanding of DevOps principles and CI/CD tooling
• Proficiency in scripting for automation (e.g., Bash, Python)
• Ability to translate architectural requirements into code

Nice to have

• Experience with container orchestration (EKS, ECS)
• Familiarity with monitoring stacks such as Prometheus/Grafana
• Knowledge of security frameworks like IAM least‑privilege design
