Key Responsibilities

• Develop custom Shopify themes and templates
• Create seamless user experiences and ensure optimal website performance
• Collaborate with designers to translate designs into functional website features
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
• Optimize website performance and ensure cross-browser compatibility
• Implement responsive design to ensure a seamless user experience on all devices
• Stay up-to-date with the latest ecommerce trends and technologies
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of the codebase
• Collaborate with the development team to identify and prioritize project requirements
• Develop and maintain technical documentation
• Ensure that all projects are completed on time and to a high standard
• Stay in close communication with the project manager and other team members
• Develop and implement automated tests to ensure website functionality

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Shopify Developer
• Strong proficiency in Javascript, HTML, CSS, and React
• Experience with NodeJS and npm
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Experience with ecommerce platforms and online payment gateways
• Knowledge of SEO principles and how to optimize website performance
• Strong understanding of responsive design and mobile-first development
• Experience with version control systems such as Git
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
