About the role

Orbit Labs is launching a focused sprint to accelerate releases through CI/CD and platform automation. We need an AWS Cloud Engineer who can design, implement, and fine‑tune pipelines that shorten deployment cycles while maintaining reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines on AWS using CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and related services
• Containerize applications with Docker and orchestrate deployments via ECS or EKS
• Implement infrastructure as code with CloudFormation or Terraform for reproducible environments
• Monitor pipeline health, troubleshoot failures, and optimize performance
• Collaborate with developers to embed security and testing into the release flow

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with AWS services (IAM, S3, Lambda, EC2)
• Proficiency in Docker containerization
• Solid DevOps practices including CI/CD, IaC, and automation
• Linux system administration and scripting

Nice to have

• Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like CloudWatch or Prometheus
• Knowledge of security best practices in CI/CD pipelines
