About the role

BlueSky Ventures seeks a proactive Cybersecurity Analyst to uplift test automation and cut regression risk before product launches. You will partner with QA and DevOps teams to embed security checks into automated pipelines, ensuring vulnerabilities are caught early.

Key responsibilities

• Design and integrate security test cases into existing automation frameworks
• Develop scripts to scan code, configurations, and containers for known flaws
• Collaborate with developers to remediate findings and improve secure coding practices
• Maintain documentation of security test coverage and results
• Provide quick triage of alerts during CI/CD runs

Must-have skills

• Hands‑on experience with security testing tools (e.g., Snyk, OWASP ZAP)
• Strong Python scripting ability for custom test creation
• Deep understanding of Linux environments and hardening

Nice to have

• Familiarity with cloud security controls (AWS/GCP)
• Knowledge of threat modeling and risk assessment
