About the role
NovaForge Tech is launching a greenfield SaaS product with a remote‑first team. We need a Cybersecurity Analyst to design and embed security controls from day one, ensuring a secure foundation for rapid growth.
Key responsibilities
- Define security architecture and policies for the new platform
- Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments for core services
- Implement automated vulnerability scanning and remediation workflows
- Collaborate with developers to embed secure coding practices
- Monitor security alerts and respond to incidents in real time
- Document security decisions and produce compliance artifacts
Must-have skills
- Hands‑on experience securing cloud‑native SaaS applications
- Proficiency in Python for scripting security checks
- Strong Linux system hardening knowledge
- Understanding of network security, IAM, and encryption
Nice to have
- Familiarity with container security tools
- Experience with security frameworks such as NIST or ISO 27001
- Previous work on zero‑trust architectures
