About the role

Ridgeline Software is enhancing its data pipeline and analytics enablement for operations teams. We need a proactive Cybersecurity Analyst to secure data flows, detect threats, and ensure compliance across our cloud‑native environment.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze security events in real‑time for data ingestion pipelines
• Design and implement security controls for ETL processes and analytics platforms
• Conduct vulnerability assessments on Linux servers and container workloads
• Collaborate with data engineers to embed security best practices into CI/CD
• Develop incident response playbooks specific to data‑centric attacks

Must-have skills

• Strong knowledge of network and host‑based security concepts
• Hands‑on experience securing Python‑based data processing scripts
• Proficiency with Linux hardening, logging, and audit tools
• Familiarity with cloud security frameworks and IAM policies

Nice to have

• Experience with SIEM solutions and automated alerting
• Knowledge of data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA)
• Background in threat modeling for data pipelines
