About the role

Pinecrest Systems is preparing a new app store launch that requires tight mobile and backend security alignment. We need a Cybersecurity Analyst to design and validate controls that protect data flow between the mobile client and backend services.

Key responsibilities

• Assess mobile app threat model and map to backend APIs
• Develop security hardening guidelines for authentication, encryption, and session management
• Perform penetration testing on API endpoints and mobile binaries
• Collaborate with developers to remediate findings and implement secure coding practices
• Document security architecture and create a release‑ready checklist

Must-have skills

• Strong knowledge of mobile security frameworks (iOS/Android)
• Experience securing RESTful APIs and cloud backends
• Proficiency in Python for scripting security tests
• Hands‑on Linux system hardening
• Understanding of OWASP Mobile Top 10

Nice to have

• Familiarity with CI/CD security integration
• Previous work on app store compliance reviews
