DevOps Engineer for Release Pipeline Hardening

About the role

LumenWorks is launching a greenfield SaaS product with a remote‑first mindset. We need a DevOps Engineer to design and implement the foundational infrastructure that will support rapid iteration and global availability.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and provision scalable AWS environments using IaC
• Build CI/CD pipelines that automate testing, container builds, and deployments
• Containerize services with Docker and orchestrate them on Kubernetes
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for early issue detection
• Collaborate with developers to embed security and reliability best practices

Must-have skills

• Hands‑on experience with AWS core services
• Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes for production workloads
• Strong background in CI/CD tooling (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar)
• Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation
• Ability to troubleshoot complex distributed systems

Nice to have

• Experience with serverless architectures
• Knowledge of observability stacks like Prometheus & Grafana
• Familiarity with GitOps workflows
