Key Responsibilities

• Translate a wide range of documents, including technical manuals, user guides, and marketing materials, from one language to another with high level of accuracy and quality.
• Review and edit translated documents to ensure that they are free of errors and flow well.
• Collaborate with other translators, editors, and project managers to ensure that projects are completed on time and to a high standard.
• Conduct research to stay up-to-date with new terminology, technology, and industry developments.
• Use computer-assisted translation tools and software to facilitate the translation process and to improve efficiency.
• Meet deadlines and deliver high-quality translations on time.
• Work closely with clients to understand their needs and to provide tailored solutions that meet their requirements.
• Develop and maintain a high level of expertise in specific areas of translation, such as technical translation or literary translation.
• Participate in quality control processes to ensure that translations meet the highest standards of quality and accuracy.
• Stay up-to-date with new trends and developments in the field of translation and to apply this knowledge to improve the quality of translations.
• Collaborate with other teams, such as marketing and sales, to provide translation services that support business objectives.
• Provide feedback and suggestions for improving translation processes and procedures.
• Develop and maintain a high level of cultural awareness and sensitivity, and to apply this knowledge to provide translations that are culturally appropriate and relevant.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in translation, preferably in a professional setting.
• High level of proficiency in one or more languages, with excellent writing and editing skills.
• Strong research skills and ability to stay up-to-date with new terminology and industry developments.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work effectively with others.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality translations on time.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Familiarity with computer-assisted translation tools and software.
