GraphQL API Developer – Service Reliability Upgrade

About the role

NovaForge Tech is enhancing its test automation suite to cut regression risk before major releases. We need a GraphQL API Developer to design and extend the API layer that powers automated test orchestration and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement GraphQL schemas for test data retrieval and command execution
• Integrate with existing CI pipelines to trigger automated test runs
• Optimize resolvers for low latency and high concurrency
• Collaborate with QA engineers to map test scenarios to API endpoints
• Document API usage and version changes for cross‑team consumption

Must-have skills

• Proven experience building GraphQL services in production
• Strong JavaScript/NodeJS background
• Understanding of REST API patterns and when to combine with GraphQL
• Familiarity with test automation frameworks (e.g., Cypress, Playwright)

Nice to have

• Experience with React front‑ends consuming GraphQL
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions
• Prior work on performance tuning of API layers
