Java Developer – Enterprise API Design

About the role

Silverline Labs is launching a critical product and needs a Java Developer to uplift test automation. You will help reduce regression risk before each release by designing robust automated suites and integrating them into the CI pipeline.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement automated test frameworks for Java microservices
• Develop reusable test libraries using Spring Boot and REST Assured
• Collaborate with QA and DevOps to embed tests into CI/CD
• Identify flaky tests, improve coverage, and report metrics
• Mentor junior team members on best automation practices

Must-have skills

• Strong Java programming experience
• Hands‑on with Spring Boot and microservice architectures
• Proven test automation using JUnit/TestNG and REST APIs
• Experience integrating tests into CI pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions)

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Docker containers for test environments
• Knowledge of performance testing tools
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
