Java Developer Needed for End-to-End Legacy System Migration

About the role

We are launching a greenfield SaaS product and need a Java Developer to shape the core backend services from day one. You will work with a remote‑first, high‑performing team focused on clean architecture and rapid delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement microservice APIs using Java and Spring Boot
• Define data models, repositories, and transaction boundaries
• Integrate with cloud services and third‑party APIs
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure reliability
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to shared coding standards

Must-have skills

• Strong Java programming experience (3+ years)
• Hands‑on with Spring Boot and RESTful microservices
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git)

Nice to have

• Experience with Docker or Kubernetes
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Knowledge of event‑driven architecture
