Java Developer Needed for Enterprise Service Layer

About the role

DataPro Services is launching a security hardening initiative for its cloud‑hosted applications. We need a Java Developer to strengthen authentication flows, harden APIs, and embed security controls into existing microservices.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze current Java services for security gaps and propose mitigations
• Implement encryption, token validation, and secure logging
• Refactor vulnerable code sections using Spring Boot best practices
• Collaborate with DevOps to integrate security scans into CI pipelines
• Document changes and provide knowledge transfer to the team

Must-have skills

• Strong Java development experience (3+ years)
• Proficiency with Spring Boot and building microservices
• Hands‑on knowledge of OWASP guidelines and cloud security concepts
• Ability to write clean, testable code and unit tests

Nice to have

• Experience with container security (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Familiarity with automated security testing tools
• Background in compliance frameworks (PCI, GDPR)
