About the role

NexGen Media is launching a sprint to accelerate releases through CI/CD and platform automation. We need a Java Developer to design, implement, and fine‑tune pipelines that enable faster, reliable deployments across our services.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar tools.
• Automate environment provisioning and deployment scripts for microservice stacks.
• Collaborate with QA and Ops to embed testing and monitoring into the release flow.
• Identify bottlenecks and propose improvements for build speed and reliability.
• Document pipeline architecture and handover procedures.

Must-have skills

• Strong Java development experience (3+ years).
• Proficiency with Spring Boot and building microservice architectures.
• Hands‑on experience configuring CI/CD tools and automated deployments.
• Understanding of containerization (Docker) and orchestration basics.

Nice to have

• Experience with Kubernetes or Helm charts.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Knowledge of infrastructure‑as‑code tools like Terraform.
