About the role

We are seeking a seasoned Microservices Architect to design and implement a robust, scalable microservices platform for a high‑traffic data processing application. The project focuses on breaking monolithic services into independent, containerized components that can be deployed and managed efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Define microservices boundaries and communication patterns.
• Design RESTful APIs and event‑driven interfaces.
• Implement Docker containers and orchestrate with Kubernetes.
• Establish CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
• Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and performance monitoring.
• Collaborate with dev teams to enforce best practices and standards.

Must-have skills

• Extensive experience designing microservices architectures.
• Proficiency with Java and Spring Boot.
• Deep knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes orchestration.
• Strong understanding of REST API design and security.
• Experience with performance tuning and scalability strategies.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with event streaming platforms such as Kafka.
• Background in cloud platforms like AWS or GCP.
