PHP Developer – Backend Scalability

About the role

We are launching a new e‑commerce integration platform and need a PHP developer to create robust backend services. The project will involve building APIs, handling data flows, and ensuring smooth interaction with third‑party systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement RESTful APIs using PHP and Laravel
• Write efficient MySQL queries and optimize database performance
• Integrate external services and payment gateways
• Collaborate with front‑end developers to define API contracts
• Maintain code quality with testing and documentation

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with PHP and Laravel framework
• Proficient in MySQL database design and query optimization
• Understanding of RESTful API principles
• Version control with Git

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Docker or containerization
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of caching strategies (Redis, Memcached)
