PHP Developer – Service Reliability Sprint

About the role

CloudWave Digital is enhancing its release pipeline with a focused test automation uplift. We need a PHP Developer to design and integrate automated regression suites that lower launch risk and speed up feedback loops.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and implement PHP‑based test scripts for core application modules
• Integrate Selenium or Cypress pipelines with existing CI/CD workflows
• Collaborate with QA engineers to prioritize high‑impact test cases
• Maintain test data sets in MySQL and ensure repeatable environments
• Document test frameworks and provide training for internal teams

Must-have skills

• Strong proficiency in PHP and Laravel ecosystem
• Hands‑on experience with MySQL schema design and queries
• Proven track record building automated test suites for web applications
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions or GitLab CI

Nice to have

• Experience with containerised test environments (Docker)
• Knowledge of behavior‑driven development (BDD) frameworks
• Understanding of performance testing basics
