About the role

Summit Digital is enhancing a B2B SaaS product with a new multi‑tenant feature set. We need a PostgreSQL Administrator to ensure the database layer scales, stays secure, and supports rapid tenant onboarding.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement schema changes for tenant isolation
• Configure and tune PostgreSQL for high concurrency workloads
• Automate backup, restore, and disaster‑recovery procedures
• Monitor performance metrics and resolve bottlenecks proactively
• Collaborate with developers to optimize queries and indexing strategies

Must-have skills

• 5+ years managing PostgreSQL in production
• Strong grasp of multi‑tenant architecture patterns
• Experience with replication, sharding, and partitioning
• Proficiency in scripting (Bash, Python) for automation

Nice to have

• Knowledge of MongoDB or MySQL ecosystems
• Familiarity with container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Background in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
