About the role

SwiftTask Agency is creating a scalable backend for a new SaaS product. We need a Python Backend Developer to design, implement, and optimize RESTful services that power core business logic.

Key responsibilities

• Develop clean, maintainable Python code using Django framework
• Design and expose REST APIs for internal and external consumption
• Integrate PostgreSQL databases, write efficient queries, and manage migrations
• Implement authentication, authorization, and security best practices
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure reliability
• Collaborate with frontend and product teams to define API contracts

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with Python and Django
• Proficiency in building RESTful APIs
• Solid knowledge of PostgreSQL and SQL optimization
• Understanding of version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Docker and container orchestration
• Experience with cloud services (AWS, GCP)
• Knowledge of asynchronous programming (asyncio, Celery)
