About the role

We are building a robust data pipeline to feed analytics tools used by operations teams. The Python Backend Developer will design, implement, and maintain services that ingest, transform, and expose data for real‑time insights.

Key responsibilities

• Develop scalable ETL jobs using Python and Django
• Create and document RESTful APIs for data access
• Optimize PostgreSQL schemas and queries for performance
• Implement monitoring, logging, and error‑handling for pipeline reliability
• Collaborate with data analysts to refine data models and reporting needs

Must-have skills

• Strong Python programming experience
• Proficiency with Django framework
• Design and consumption of REST APIs
• Hands‑on PostgreSQL database management

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Airflow or similar orchestration tools
• Experience with cloud services (AWS, GCP)
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts
