About the role

DataPro Services is launching a new product line and needs a Python Backend Developer to uplift test automation. You will design and integrate automated regression suites that reduce launch risk and improve release confidence.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain pytest-based test frameworks for existing services
• Create reusable fixtures and mock environments for end‑to‑end scenarios
• Collaborate with QA and product teams to identify high‑risk areas
• Integrate test runs into CI pipelines and generate actionable reports
• Document test architecture and best practices for future teams

Must-have skills

• Strong Python programming experience
• Hands‑on with Django and REST API development
• Proficient in PostgreSQL query optimization
• Experience writing automated tests with pytest or similar

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Docker containerization
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions or Jenkins
• Background in performance testing and load simulation
