About the role

CoreData Systems is launching a greenfield SaaS product for a remote‑first team. We need a Python Backend Developer to shape the core services, design data models, and ensure the platform scales from day one.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and implement RESTful APIs using Django and Django‑REST‑Framework
• Design PostgreSQL schemas, write efficient queries, and manage migrations
• Integrate third‑party services and asynchronous workers for background processing
• Write unit and integration tests, enforce code quality, and contribute to CI pipelines
• Collaborate with frontend, product, and DevOps teams to deliver features in short sprints

Must-have skills

• Strong Python proficiency and experience with Django
• Deep understanding of REST API design and authentication
• Solid PostgreSQL experience, including performance tuning
• Familiarity with Git, Docker, and CI/CD workflows

Nice to have

• Experience with async frameworks such as Celery or FastAPI
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and serverless concepts
• Exposure to test‑driven development and automated testing tools
