About the role

AlphaEdge Tech is building a data pipeline and analytics enablement platform for operations teams. We need a REST API Developer to design, implement, and optimize services that move and transform operational data in real time.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop high‑performance RESTful APIs using NodeJS
• Integrate PostgreSQL stores and ensure data consistency across pipelines
• Implement authentication, rate‑limiting, and logging for production reliability
• Collaborate with data engineers to expose clean endpoints for analytics dashboards
• Write unit and integration tests and maintain documentation

Must-have skills

• Strong experience building REST APIs with NodeJS
• Proficient in JavaScript (ES6+)
• Hands‑on with PostgreSQL schema design and query optimization
• Understanding of data pipeline concepts and streaming patterns

Nice to have

• Familiarity with containerization (Docker)
• Experience with cloud services (AWS, GCP)
