About the role

NovaForge Tech is launching a sprint to accelerate releases through CI/CD and platform automation. We need a REST API Developer who can design, implement, and refine APIs that power our automated pipelines and support rapid deployment cycles.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build robust RESTful services using NodeJS and JavaScript
• Integrate APIs with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI
• Optimize database interactions with PostgreSQL for high‑throughput pipelines
• Implement automated testing and monitoring for API reliability
• Collaborate with DevOps engineers to streamline deployment workflows

Must-have skills

• Proven experience building REST APIs with NodeJS
• Strong JavaScript fundamentals and async programming
• Hands‑on PostgreSQL schema design and query optimization
• Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and tooling

Nice to have

• Experience with Docker or Kubernetes
• Knowledge of Terraform or other IaC tools
• Background in automated testing frameworks
