About the role

LumenWorks is expanding its B2B SaaS offering with a new multi‑tenant feature set. We need a Database Administrator to design, implement, and fine‑tune the underlying data layer for this rollout. The role focuses on schema evolution, performance optimization, and ensuring tenant data isolation.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deploy multi‑tenant schemas in PostgreSQL, MongoDB and MySQL
• Implement automated backup, restore, and disaster‑recovery processes
• Monitor and troubleshoot query performance across tenants
• Collaborate with developers to integrate database changes into CI/CD pipelines
• Document data models, standards, and operational procedures

Must-have skills

• 5+ years managing PostgreSQL, MongoDB and MySQL in production
• Deep understanding of multi‑tenant architecture and security
• Experience with performance tuning, indexing, and query optimization
• Proficiency in scripting (Bash, Python) for automation
• Strong problem‑solving and communication skills

Nice to have

• Familiarity with cloud database services (AWS RDS, Azure Cosmos DB)
• Knowledge of containerized database deployments (Docker, Kubernetes)
