Senior Database Administrator Needed for Multi-Region Schema Modernization

About the role

DataPro Services is launching a critical integration project that ties together billing, CRM, and internal APIs. We need a Database Administrator to design, implement, and fine‑tune the data layer that will support seamless data flow across these systems.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and maintain relational and NoSQL databases for high‑volume transaction processing
• Develop ETL pipelines to synchronize data between billing, CRM, and custom APIs
• Implement robust backup, recovery, and security policies
• Optimize queries and indexes for low latency across integrated services
• Collaborate with developers and DevOps to embed database best practices into CI/CD workflows

Must-have skills

• 5+ years managing PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and MySQL in production
• Proven experience building data pipelines for system integrations
• Strong SQL performance tuning and schema design expertise
• Knowledge of data security, encryption, and compliance standards

Nice to have

• Familiarity with containerized database deployments (Docker/Kubernetes)
• Experience with cloud database services (AWS RDS, Azure Database)
• Understanding of event‑driven architectures and messaging queues
