About the role

Northbay Systems is enhancing a B2B SaaS product with a multi‑tenant architecture. We need a Docker Kubernetes Specialist to design, implement, and fine‑tune the container orchestration layer that will isolate tenant workloads while preserving performance.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and deploy Kubernetes clusters across cloud providers
• Create Helm charts for tenant‑specific services
• Implement CI/CD pipelines that automate image builds and rollouts
• Monitor cluster health, set up alerts, and optimize resource usage
• Collaborate with product engineers to embed tenancy logic in the platform

Must-have skills

• Deep experience with Docker containerization
• Advanced Kubernetes administration (RBAC, networking, storage)
• Proven DevOps practices for multi‑tenant environments

Nice to have

• Experience with service mesh (Istio, Linkerd)
• Knowledge of Terraform or similar IaC tools
• Familiarity with observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana)
