About the role
BlueSky Ventures is modernizing a legacy production platform that must stay live 24/7. We need a Full Stack Web Developer to redesign core services while ensuring zero‑downtime deployments. You will work closely with product owners and ops to translate business needs into resilient code.
Key responsibilities
- Refactor existing monolith into modular React front‑ends and NodeJS APIs
- Implement feature flags and blue‑green releases for seamless updates
- Optimize database interactions with MongoDB for performance and scalability
- Write automated tests and CI pipelines to guarantee stability
- Collaborate in daily stand‑ups and sprint planning across time zones
Must-have skills
- Strong experience with React, NodeJS, and JavaScript
- Proven track record modernizing legacy systems
- Deep understanding of MongoDB schema design and indexing
- Familiarity with zero‑downtime deployment strategies
Nice to have
- Docker or container orchestration experience
- Knowledge of serverless functions
