About the role

Vertex Analytics is modernizing a legacy production platform that must stay live during the upgrade. We need a full stack web developer to redesign the UI and refactor backend services while ensuring zero‑downtime deployment.

Key responsibilities

• Rewrite legacy frontend components using React and modern design patterns
• Build new RESTful APIs with NodeJS, integrating with existing services
• Implement data migrations and schema updates in MongoDB without service interruption
• Set up automated testing and CI pipelines to validate each release
• Collaborate with QA and DevOps to monitor performance during rollout

Must-have skills

• Strong experience with React and NodeJS in production environments
• Proficiency in JavaScript ES6+ and asynchronous programming
• Hands‑on work with MongoDB, including indexing and aggregation
• Understanding of zero‑downtime deployment strategies

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Docker or container orchestration
• Experience in legacy code refactoring and performance tuning
