About the role

Silverline Labs is launching an integration project that ties together billing, CRM, and internal APIs. We need a Microservices Architect to design a resilient, scalable service mesh that unifies data flow while preserving domain boundaries.

Key responsibilities

• Define the micro‑service decomposition strategy for billing, CRM, and internal systems.
• Design and document API contracts, event schemas, and versioning policies.
• Implement core services using Java and containerize them with Docker.
• Orchestrate deployment pipelines on Kubernetes, ensuring zero‑downtime migrations.
• Establish observability, tracing, and alerting across the integrated ecosystem.
• Collaborate with product owners to align technical decisions with business goals.

Must-have skills

• Proven experience architecting microservice solutions in Java.
• Deep knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes for production workloads.
• Strong grasp of API design, event‑driven communication, and security best practices.
• Ability to translate complex business processes into scalable services.

Nice to have

• Experience with billing platforms or CRM systems.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI.
• Background in cloud‑native monitoring (Prometheus, Grafana).
