Senior MongoDB Specialist – Mission-Critical Database Architecture

About the role

Pinecrest Systems is expanding a B2B SaaS product with a new multi-tenant feature set. We need a MongoDB Specialist to design, implement, and optimize tenant‑isolated data stores while ensuring performance and security.

Key responsibilities

• Architect schema for multi‑tenant isolation using MongoDB collections and indexes
• Develop data migration scripts for existing tenants
• Implement CRUD services and aggregation pipelines in NodeJS
• Set up monitoring, backups, and sharding strategies
• Collaborate with frontend and product teams to define data contracts

Must-have skills

• 5+ years building scalable MongoDB solutions
• Strong NodeJS experience with Express or similar frameworks
• Proficiency in JavaScript, React, HTML, CSS for API testing
• Understanding of multi‑tenant architecture patterns
• Experience with performance tuning and security best practices

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes deployments
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for database migrations
• Experience with cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure) MongoDB services
