Senior MongoDB Specialist Needed for Cloud-Native Backup & Recovery

About the role

TechFlow Inc is launching a security hardening initiative for its cloud‑hosted applications. We need a MongoDB Specialist to design and implement robust security controls around our data stores, ensuring compliance and resilience.

Key responsibilities

• Audit existing MongoDB deployments for security gaps
• Configure role‑based access, encryption at rest and in transit
• Implement automated compliance checks and alerting
• Work with DevOps to embed security into CI/CD pipelines
• Document hardening procedures and provide knowledge transfer

Must-have skills

• Deep experience securing MongoDB clusters in cloud environments
• Proficiency with TLS, authentication mechanisms, and encryption
• Familiarity with AWS/GCP security services and IAM
• Ability to write scripts for monitoring and remediation

Nice to have

• Certifications such as CISSP or MongoDB DBA
• Experience with containerized MongoDB deployments
• Knowledge of audit frameworks like SOC2 or ISO27001
