About the role

Summit Digital is launching a critical product and needs a MongoDB Specialist to lead a test automation uplift. The focus is to reduce regression risk before launch by designing robust data‑driven test suites and integrating them into the CI pipeline.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement MongoDB‑backed automated tests for core features
• Collaborate with QA and Dev teams to embed data fixtures into test runs
• Optimize query performance for large‑scale regression suites
• Document test data schemas and maintenance procedures
• Provide knowledge transfer and best‑practice guidelines

Must-have skills

• Deep expertise with MongoDB aggregation and indexing
• Proven experience in test automation frameworks
• Strong scripting ability in JavaScript/NodeJS
• Understanding of CI/CD integration for database tests

Nice to have

• Familiarity with React‑based front‑end test layers
• Experience with performance testing tools
